Very nice service, food very good but over price.
They have tamale en cazuela everyday 7.99, but it does not bring pork, the port they put is like a tiny piece. I order the Tamal en casuela
$7.99 plus tax No pork meat in it. I had to go back to the place and ask for a refund. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and again I order Tamal En cazuela, I told my husband to tell them to please make sure I got at least 2 pcs of pork meat. Guess I got 3 pcs. that if you put them together they did not even make one piece. Forget this Sh-t.
I found a place as good as them try Rinconcito Cuban0 70 NW 107 Ave.
I order the a small bowl of tamale en cazuela big nice piece of pork meat and included 2 fried sweet plantain the small bowl for 4.99 and the large $6.49 with lot of pork meat and plantain. if you compare both restaurant you get the same or even better quality for a better price at Rinconcito Cubano. they re pretty much on the same area. on e is south the other is north. I pick north Rinconcito Cubano. BYE BYE Luis Galindo's Latin American 2 -

The ambience is casual like a diner. No frills. But relaxed. I had Ropa Vieja, white rice, tostones.
Ropa Vieja: delicious, green peppers, onions. White rice: good, not sticky or soupy. Tostones: good, large, not greasy, crunchy, as I like. Be prepared to order in Spanish. Inexpensive. Good service. Good value. -

Ok this is a very popular Cuban restaurant in the area, open late, and an option for the late night munchies.
Personally, not a favorite. I've tried so many Cuban places (in Miami, how can you not) and this place just doesn't cut it for me. I ALWAYS feel like something is lacking. Maybe flavor? Not sure but I've tried many dishes and they're just OK for me.
Service is always great though. The waitresses are always very quick and attentive. Just not a place I would willingly choose. -

It was Sunday, mid day and we sat outside. Our server Maria del Carmen was actually very nice; which surprised me after reading some of the reviews and the comments regarding the overall service.
And with the food: you get what you pay for. That applies 100% here.
What I didn't like although it's something minor is the fact that they gave me my cafe con leche in a to-go cup and with no lid, why? If I was sitting at the bar waiting for the food to arrive. Oh well
It's ok if you feel like eating their type of food and don't want to spend much.
Breakfast, an order of rabo encendido and a natilla for $31. Not bad.
